About Me
Conceptulized by J-Stone, leader of the band after being abducted by aliens as a kid he spent many years wondering what happened, why? Hypnosis led him back to his San Francisco residence where he lived as a child and went thru the expierience again as an adult. Since then he has formed the Brothas From Planet Funk, a full production studio and the Funkanaut project.
Funkanauts have 3 CD’s to date. “Bringers of the Dawn” 1997, “Crash Landing” 2005 & “Reclaiming the Pyramids” 2008. With tons of material recorded the next CD should be available soon. Collaborations with Walter Earl Pianist, Amp Fiddler Synthesizers..
